Donation protected
At the end of March, Caine started showing symptoms like being lethargic, not wanting to eat, having trouble walking, and high liver enzymes. On April 14, after having a specialist ultrasound his abdomen, they found a 6-8 cm mass on his liver and fluid near the area. The vets said that the mass is in a tight area, so we would need to see the specialists at the emergency vet nearby if we wanted to have it removed.
We would like to try to remove the mass, which will cost upwards of $5,000 (estimate we were given). Caine has been the very best dog ever. He has come to work with us everyday, come on every vacation, and been there for everything, so we want to explore all options for him. I have started him on a variety of supplements and things given by the vet to keep him comfortable. We appreciate any amount given to help cover his vet costs, surgery, medications, and things to keep him comfy.
