Support Cailey’s Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, I am Genevieve Giehl, Cailey’s Grandmother.

“My Daughter and Son-In-Law have stood by that all they need from anyone is prayers, but many of you have asked for a way to do more.” They would never ask for help, which is why I am making this GoFundMe to try and help them with unexpected costs.

As you know, On September 15, Cailey’s life changed in an instant. She was a passenger in a motor vehicle crash where the vehicle rolled over several times, the accident that has left her facing significant life challenges. While Cailey focuses on healing, the financial burden of medical bills, travel for treatments and appointments, and everyday living expenses is overwhelming. We are asking for your kindness and support to help Cailey and her parents through this incredibly difficult time.

She sustained a severe heel fracture that she has undergone three surgeries and will require more in the next few months. She has sustained infections that have postponed the needed surgeries from being completed. As we all keep this young woman in our prayers with some being answered, they will be able to perform them in the near future. Cailey remains unable to work or attend school in person due to the severity of her injuries. Her road to recovery is long and requires extensive medical care, physical therapy, and constant support.
