Support Caiden's Journey to Legal Name Change
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Caiden. I'm a trans man from Merrill, Wisconsin. I came out socially in 2014, and started my medically journey in January of 2022. My mother, who was one of my biggest supporters, passed away in April of 2022, so she never got to see any of my medical journey. I'm in the process of getting my name changed, but being disabled (chronic migraines, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, memory issues due to a stroke I had at 15, and other problems) I'm unable to find work right now, and since I can't find work, I can't pay for my name change. My birth name gives me major gender dysphoria, and being able to legally change it would help alleviate that dysphoria.
The reason I didn't start my medical journey until 2022 was because of an ex. I do not want to get into details, but eventually my gender dysphoria got so bad that I HAD to go on hormones, and after my mother's passing, I left that ex, and I'm much happier.
In October, I go in for top surgery consultation, a week before my 30th birthday, and I cannot wait. I'm finally where I want to be, except for my name.
