Support Cafe Olli!

hi everyone, we are taylor and siobhan the owners of cafe olli here in portland oregon. last night our woodshed was set on fire, thankfully the fire department was able to put it out before any serious damage was done to the restaurant or the apartment building next door. however we had just received a delivery two days prior so our shed was completely full and due to the chemicals used to put out the fire we are unable to use any of the wood resulting in a total loss. financial impact aside this was a real blow to us, this was another thing in a long list of things that have happened in our little cafe the past month including multiple large and expensive equipment repairs, slow business/early closures and consistent vandalism. we do want to recognize that there are a lot of horrible things happening in the world right now and we are very fortunate that this wasn't worse but as most people know restaurant margins are razor thin to begin with and things like this can have a huge impact on a small business like ours. we love our community, we have poured everything into this place and our staff show up every day to give you all the best experience possible and we love cooking for all of you that come from near and far and are asking for any support you can send us, we are so grateful for the love and support of our community!
