Support Caeden's Battle with Epilepsy

In October 2020, Caeden was born a super healthy baby boy. He has always been a super energetic and healthy kid.

Approximately January 2024, Caeden suffered a seizure and he was taken to Oishei Children's Hospital where he was checked out, and the doctors thought it was a febrile thing. Unfortunately, in late June 2024, Caeden was visiting with his father and suffered another. He was taken back into the emergency department at Oishei's and was seen by a neurologist, and they once again told me it was a febrile seizure. We then had a follow-up with the neurologist where he was evaluated, and everything came back perfect.

One perfect day in late August, just 2 months after the last seizure, he suffered 3 seizures within a period of 48 hours, which led to him soiling his clothes, losing complete consciousness, and being rushed to the emergency room. He was admitted, and an EEG was administered. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He was placed on seizure medications, which has been a really hectic and hard time. He was first on Keppra and was switched over to Valproic Acid due to terrible side effects from Keppra and was admitted again to the hospital due to suffering yet another seizure.

Asking for help in these difficult times due to medical expenses and bills. Anything goes a long way. Sadly, this is something he will have to deal with for the rest of his life.
