On Friday, August 15, my nephew Caden went to the hospital with severe stomach pains. He had been trying to go to work for 2 days in this pain, but it had become unbearable. It was confirmed that he had appendicitis, and he would need to have his appendix removed. What we thought was going to be a quick in and out surgery, became a 4 hour major surgery. His appendix had ruptured and he needed to have a portion of both his large and small intestines removed.

He spent the next 6 days fighting so hard to recover. He was very, very, very ill. There were times it felt impossible, but our God is the God of the impossible and after 6 days in the hospital, he was able to go home!

He has a long way to go in recovering from this surgery, and will not be able to return to his dream job at Amazon as a mechatronics and robotics apprentice for 12 weeks. This has been very unexpected and the hospital bills have added up immensely. If you are able to contribute, we would be greatly appreciate it.
