Hi, my name is Caden and I have been given the amazing opportunity to march with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. This is a Drum Corps, which is basically a big marching band that goes on tour across the country during the summer. The season consists of about a month of training and rehearsal every day before the group goes on tour, spanning from the end of June until it ends on August 8th in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Colts Stadium. This is really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

That being said, it is pretty pricey. The dues factor in food for the entire summer, charter buses for touring, paying for housing sites, paying for staff, all of the show design and music rights, and I'm sure there is more that I don't know. I have loved this activity since I first got the chance to see and be a part of it, and the journey here has been very tedious. I have loved every minute of it, and I am so excited to spend a summer with so many others who love the activity like I do.
