Hi friends, today my beautiful Cadence Rose was diagnosed with glaucoma in her right eye. This came on very suddenly and severely. Glaucoma is a painful and degenerative disease that cannot be cured. If we’re lucky, it may be possible to manage for some time with meds and pain relief, but will most likely result in surgery to remove the eye at some point in the future. Right now we are still in the early stages of diagnosis and treatment planning so I do

not have a full cost breakdown for current and future treatment, only a rough estimate of upcoming expenses and long term care. Any financial assistance that friends and family choose to share will go towards diagnostics, treatment/surgery, pain management, and travel expenses to and from the specialist. Good vibes, prayers and positive energy are also greatly appreciated. Cadence is my “Best-Best-Girl” and she deserves the very best care that can be had.
