Support Cabbie Steve Eierman's Fight Against Leukemia

Hello all Paul Menta here. 6 months ago, a dear friend of mine, Steve Eierman, was diagnosed with Leukemia. (For those of you who don't know, Leukemia is a type of blood cancer that originates in the bone marrow.) Steve has been a Key West resident for almost 30 years.

He's been driving a taxi cab here on the island for the past 10 years or so. I'm sure he's helped you, your friends and thousands of visitors get home safe and sound after a night on the town.

Several of the side effects of Leukemia are total exhaustion, loss of every day energy and severe bone pain. Because of this (and the cancer treatment he's now on) his ability to drive and make a living has been severely impaired. Between rent, $3100 deductible on $36k month chemo pills and try to get by as much as he hates it at70 years old he needs our help. Getting him help for the next 5 months is really crucial and caught up just to live. Anyone with ideas to make this goal happen please contact me. He is a great guy, big smile and always lends a helping hand. Let’s do this for him as he has done enough good that karma needs to shed a little help on him with anything you can spare.
