My Story
For 19 years, I served as an infantry soldier.
That life shaped who I am — discipline, resilience, loyalty, and the ability to keep going when quitting felt easier. But it also came at a cost I can no longer ignore.
Years of service left me with serious, permanent injuries:
Both hips require replacement
Both knees require replacement
A severe back injury that will likely require a surgery estimated around $100,000
Alongside the physical damage, I now live with:
PTSD
Major Depressive Disorder
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
These aren’t things you “push through.”
They affect how you sleep, how you work, how you think — and how you see yourself when the uniform comes off and the structure disappears.
When my injuries forced me out of service, I lost more than a career. I lost identity, routine, and purpose. Like many veterans and first responders, I had to rebuild from the ground up while carrying invisible wounds that most people never see.

Why I Built This Business
During my recovery, I realized something painful but important:
Too many people are suffering in silence.
Veterans. First responders. Civilians. Young people. Parents. Men especially.
Mental health struggles don’t discriminate — but stigma still keeps people quiet.
So instead of letting my experiences break me, I decided to turn them into something that could help others feel less alone.
That’s why I created Ca5ualChao5™ — a mental-health-focused creative business built around awareness, conversation, and connection.
The mission is simple:
Break the silence around mental health
Use music, media, and community to start real conversations
Remind people that they matter, they’re needed, and they’re not weak for struggling
This business isn’t just a brand — it’s purpose rebuilt from loss.

How Your Support Helps
Your donation directly supports both survival and impact.
Funds raised will help with:
Medical and recovery costs not fully covered elsewhere
Stabilizing my ability to work despite chronic pain and mental health challenges
Expanding Ca5ualChao5™ through music, content creation, outreach, and awareness campaigns
Creating resources and platforms that encourage people to speak up before it’s too late
Every contribution helps me continue turning lived experience into something that helps others keep going.

Why This Matters
I’ve lost friends. I’ve seen what happens when people feel unheard, unsupported, or ashamed to ask for help.
This fundraiser isn’t about sympathy.
It’s about giving purpose to pain and building something that helps others survive theirs.
If you’ve ever struggled — or know someone who has — then you already understand why this matters.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for believing that mental health deserves a voice.
The world still needs us.
