There, doctors discovered his blood and plasma levels were dangerously low, and after emergency transfusions and extensive testing, Byron was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of leukemia. He now faces a 30-day hospital stay without visitors, separated from his family during this critical time.

The financial burden on Byron’s family is immense. As the sole provider, Byron’s inability to work means that not only are medical bills piling up, but everyday living expenses are also a great concern. The timeline for his recovery is still unknown, adding to the uncertainty and stress his family is experiencing.
