- My name is Todd Byers ,my brother Monte and I just lost our mother to Alzheimer’s disease, she had just turned 79 the 18th of January in Lakeside nursing home in North Kingstown. sometime in 2018 my brother who lives in South Florida and I in Exeter Rhode Island decided that she could no longer live alone at her house and moved her into my house with me in Exeter where I could better care for her .,with the progression of this disease-and lost time from work sadly i was no longer able to give my mother the care she needed and with heartbreak put our mother into a nursing home with hopes she would get the care she deserved she was a wonderful woman and a great mother not to mention my best friend , and now need to get our mother to her final resting place in the mountains of north Carolina , patty’s chapel cemetery to lay a rest aside, my father Robert Augustus Byers .,this is why I’m reaching out to help us get her where she needs to be , and a beautiful monument of granite as to last for generations to come, with a heavy heart and a touch of humility. I swallow my pride to put my hand out in hopes of help, as my brother and I at this time are not financially able to do so on our own. My mom, Carole Ann Byers. Will be missed most dearly any extra proceeds will be donated to a charity, fighting Alzheimer’s disease
