It is with a heavy heart that I formally announce the passing of Christian Jensen, commonly known as Buzzy, who passed away at his home early Saturday morning (6/21).

You may know Buzzy as the guy behind the meat counter, the life of the party, and/or a local Rangeley legend. To me, he was dad, and I am asking for your support during this difficult time.

I have gone back and forth on whether to start this ‘Go Fund Me’, as I am not a big hand out kind of guy, but I have been advised and I am learning in real time that the process ahead can get costly.

Christian lost his job of 20+ years last month, which caused his benefits to end, including his life insurance. Only if you have it to spare, please consider donating what you can to help cover the final expense costs. Please note that if we raise more than needed, any additional funds will be added to his three granddaughters' savings accounts.

We plan to have a celebration of life in the coming months to allow enough notice for family and friends who do not live locally to attend if they wish. I will share more details once they are available.
