Hello everyone! My name is Yare, otherwise known as Buzz's mom. Buzz is my English bulldog, born on 09/23/2022. Buzz came into my life in December 2022 as a Christmas gift. Since then, Buzz has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. As a person who has struggled with medical conditions for the longest time, Buzz has changed my life in significant ways. Most importantly, Buzz has made me regain a sense of hope and love for life. Buzz has shown me how to love unconditionally, forgive readily, and laugh tirelessly.

Unfortunately, however, Buzz is a brachycephalic breed that requires BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery. BOAS is a chronic upper airway condition affecting short-snouted dogs that can become life-threatening, often causing fatal respiratory distress, hypoxia (lack of oxygen), and heat exhaustion. Over time, symptoms such as heavy breathing, exercise intolerance, gagging, and heat sensitivity have increased, severely impacting Buzz's quality of life. Because of the short lifespan of English bulldogs, I would like to provide Buzz with a better quality of life and extend his lifespan as much as possible. Therefore, the funds collected will be used for Buzz's BOAS surgery.
