This is Buxy. He has been a part of our family for a long time. He is the sweetest cat ever, so very smart, cute, and fun.

Recently, a large lump formed on his right chest area. After waiting for an opening for a consultation, he finally was looked at and we decided to move on to surgery to remove the lump. The surgery went well; he is currently recovering from it, but it was very costly. The vet sent a sample of the tissue to be analyzed, and we found out it was cancerous, a very rare and aggressive type. We were told that the entirety of the tumor wasn't and couldn't be removed due to being embedded in the surrounding muscles. The best option going forward would be radiation therapy, which is even more expensive.
