Support Buster and Joe's Battle Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Buster, named after Buster Posey (my daddy LOVES baseball). When I was a puppy, someone threw me away in a cardboard box. I was a lucky puppy because I was found and taken home to my new forever family who took care of me, loved me, and made me one of the family. I taught them how to play ball, how to give me my favorite treats, and best of all, how to rub my belly! It's been a very happy 12 years.

Three weeks ago, I got sick. I was so weak my Daddy had to carry me into the vet's office. He was so upset. I needed a bunch of tests and a blood transfusion. My Daddy told them to do whatever they needed to. Now Daddy calls me his 10-K-dog. I don't really understand why, but I love him no matter what he calls me! That's why I am asking all of our friends to help my Daddy save me again. You see, the reason I needed all those tests is because I have something called bladder cancer and need surgery. The really odd thing is that my Daddy found out about my cancer the same day he found out that he had melanoma and needs surgery too! I didn't know at first that was a bad thing, but I do now since Daddy explained it to me, so now I try not to fight him so much when he gives me my medicine. They are just so icky! Blahhh!

Anyway, my Daddy told me we weren't going to give up! "Caryls" (that's Daddy's last name, Joe Caryl) don't give up! He says we are going to fight together, and if Daddy says that's what we are going to do, then that's what we are going to do! (If you know my Daddy, then you know what I mean, tee hee hee)
