Hello! I’m Steph and I’m raising funds for The Met, Bury, specifically to support Bury Youth Theatre. BYT runs two groups for young people aged 6-18 where creative kids get to develop their skills, work with professionals and make friends and memories that last a lifetime. I should know, I was a youth theatre kid myself and it’s pretty much the reason I do what I do now.

Youth Theatre can be quite difficult to fundraise for because it’s ongoing work. They do charge but fees stay low to make sure it’s accessible to all. It’s not commercial and profit-making and it’s also not amateur dramatics. It’s high quality, focused on developing young people as creative individuals and always inclusive.

Please give a little bit to help these groups survive and continue providing the vital resource for Bury, building a creative community and the audiences, performers and professionals of the future.
