This fundraiser is for Burt. If you know him, then you already know that Burt will give his shirt off his back to help anyone. He’s got a big heart. Recently, he was having abdominal problems and started urinating blood. After going to the hospital, it was discovered that he had a tumor the size of a baseball embedded on his kidney. After surgery that demanded two surgeons over five hours, they finally removed the tumor and one kidney. Currently, they’re running tests to see if they can identify if it’s benign or cancerous. After a week in the hospital, he is still recovering. Unfortunately, his medical bills have been accumulating, so now I’m asking everyone that knows him and even people that haven’t met him but can relate with these types of financial constraints to please help me raise some money to pay for his medical bills. He’s not out of the woods yet since he has to go back for therapy and to find out if the tumor is non-cancerous. Please help me in raising money for our friend Burt.
