On Sunday 8/2/2026 at around 7 am, our family restaurant, Burger Box, was struck by a vehicle in a hit and run, causing significant damage to the building and equipment that forced us to temporarily close. Thankfully no one was injured as no employees were working at the time. The incident is still under investigation, and we’re waiting to learn more. For now we’re focused on working with our landlord, our insurance company, and the proper authorities as we assess the damage and begin the long road to reopening.

While we’re grateful to have insurance and hope much of the loss will be covered, we also know that recovery takes time and there are many unknowns ahead. So many of you have asked how to help, and by popular request, we’ve created this GoFundMe for anyone who would like to support the Burger Box family during this difficult time. Every donation is completely voluntary and will help us navigate the road ahead as unexpected expenses, costs that may not be covered or may be delayed by insurance, and other needs that arise as we work toward reopening and serving our community again.
