Hi friends! My name is Georgia, I am hosting this fundraiser for my sweet friend Bunni who has faced an incredibly difficult and traumatic series of events within the last year. These experiences have left lasting emotional and financial challenges that she is working to overcome. We are coming together to support her as she works to rebuild her life. hi beautiful people,

my name is Bunni (she/her), I am an Afro-indigenous and HIV+; trans educator and spiritualist based on occupied Ohlone territory “SF Bay Area”.

I am here to ask for support from my community both real-life and virtual.

this year has been really difficult for my overall journey and even though I feel very guilty for seeking help in a time where we’re all struggling, I was made aware that asking for help is very much needed.

I have been dealing with familial abuse to the extent that includes transphobic violence and SA since March 2024. it’s gotten a lot complicated where I’m now in a lawsuit against my blood.

aside from severing my relations with my transphobic relatives, I had to leave my home due to escaping an unsafe environment, and on March 7th, 2025, I was mugged at gun point by a group of men in downtown San Francisco. losing my phone, ID, EBT card and wallet alongside some irreplaceable items.

I am raising money to help myself move into a safer home, seek psychiatric help (outpatient program at UCSF) for my complex-PTSD and replace some items that were stolen last Friday. I am also very grateful to be staying with a trusted friend while I recover from all this, but it has been the hardest week of my life.

I believe the strongest forces in this realm is collective love and have faith that I will be okay because I have my community no matter where or what.
