Hi there! I’m Bunga.

This fundraiser is a step of faith toward pursuing my education at Westminster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania, USA. My hope is to serve Christ’s kingdom and bring Him glory, wherever He leads me next.

I believe God has called me to share the powerful message of grace and the liberating truth of His Word, especially with women and girls wrestling with identity. I have a deep desire to study His Word in an academic setting—a passion I've always had, but only since this past year have I felt truly confident to take this step of faith.

Why Westminster?

It took a lot of prayer to make the decision. But, after my aunt (the lady in the picture) and I visited Westminster Theological Seminary, talked to the admission counselor, and learned about the history and curriculum there, I was sure this is the place that I want to enroll to.

I chose Westminster Theological Seminary because of its unwavering commitment to the truth and authority of God’s Word. Founded by J. Gresham Machen to uphold sound theology amid growing compromises, Westminster has stayed true to its mission for nearly a century. Here, I know I’ll be grounded in Scripture, trained in solid theology, and equipped to share God’s liberating truth with others.

My Testimony

Growing up, I struggled a lot with my identity, often believing the lie that I was worthless and unlovable. There was a God-sized hole in my heart, and in an attempt to fill it, I chased love and acceptance in all the wrong places… until I hit rock bottom in 2022. My life was a mess, and I remember crying out to God in desperation.

Sure enough, He heard my cry. He brought me halfway around the world to a ministry here in the U.S., where He opened my heart to see and receive His love. The message of grace turned my life around, and Jesus saved me. Now, I know that my identity is found in Him.

Since then, my heart’s desire to bring God’s truth to everyone around me has only grown stronger. I am so thankful for what He has done in my life, and I ache for those who don’t know Him or the freedom His love and grace bring. I want others to know Jesus and to experience the life-changing peace that only He can give.

To be honest, the financial challenge feels impossible, but I know my God can move mountains. In faith, I believe that if this is His plan for me, nothing is impossible for Him. Humbly, I ask for any financial support and prayers from those who feel called to join me on this journey.
