Support Buko's Road to Recovery

Hey, my name is Neveah and I'm raising funds for my boy, Buko. Buko is a two year old Belgian Tervuren, my sport and show prospect He was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday, taken into emergency vet, and it was determined that he has multiple breaks in his pelvis and possibly a torn ACL. After many phone calls and deliberation, we decided the best option was to make an appointment as soon as possible for a surgery 7 hours away on June 6th.

This sweet boy is our second-in-command ranch dog, loves going for horse rides and hikes, is a demo dog and idol for many local 4H kids, and trains in multiple sports. Buko is my training partner, my right hand man, my ride or die. We want to get him back into the shape he was before, but need some extra help.

We were given an estimate of $8000+, which doesn't include random additional costs, rehab, or traveling costs. All contributions will go towards the cost of vetting, surgery, traveling, etc. Every bit of support is appreciated!!

UPDATE:

Buko is heading home!



He got out of surgery late yesterday evening. The surgeon said it all went very well. His knee ligaments were intact and didn't require any surgery. His pelvis recieved internal reconstruction and plating on the acetabulum. He's been given 8-12 weeks of recovery time, with the hardest being the next few weeks where he must rest and can't go on any walks. 



We are so grateful that he is still with us and everything went well. We couldn't have done this without all of the support we received! Thanks to all of you, Buko is on his way to recovery!
