Buddy went missing from Monticello, GA, while his family was here visiting from Waco, TX for Thanksgiving. He has been missing ever since and we have had no sightings since before Christmas.

On January 30th, at 5:35 pm we got a call from a lady who had seen our post and signs and she saw him on her trail cam and sent a picture of him. After 65 days missing we knew where he was. We quickly gathered resources and got the trap out there with her and her mother in laws help and my husband and I set up camp in the truck ready to pull an all nighter to wait and see if he showed up. At 11:30 he was at the trap and within minutes he was secured.

This elderly boy survived record cold, and overcame the unimaginable. He went almost a month with no sightings and traveled over 8 miles! 65 days missing and he SURVIVED!!!!

We now need to raise money to help cover his vet visit and trip back to Texas. His owners are back in Waco and we have had an amazing local lady, Ami, step up to help him decompress with her and get healthy enough for the drive back. Ami is a local pet groomer and hero who has rescued many many dogs and has now volunteered to drive him back so they do not have to make the long trek out here as they are in their 70s and have already made several trips back and forth since Thanksgiving.

We want to help raise the money to cover a rental, gas money and any vet bills so we can get him HOME!!!
