Support Bud & Cora

Hello fellow Friends and Family of Bud and Cora Dorsey.

As many of you know Bud and Cora both recently fell ill with Covid. Cora thankfully has recovered but Bud has been in the hospital since November 2. Unfortunately Bud is still critically ill and needs all of our prayers.

Bud has been involved with horses pretty much his whole life. Many may not realize just how extensive and varied his horsemanship career has been. He has been a jockey, competed in chuck wagon races, shown halter, reining & pleasure as well as game events. We all know Bud has a deep love for barrel racing and competing in all WSCA game events and does both as often as possible. He has competed at the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, OH, the NBHA World Show in August, GA and the Barrel horse Futurities of American in Oklahoma City, OK. He has been an active member of the WSCA, Trail Riders Saddle Club and has helped the local 4H Clubs/kids.

Bud has touched so many lives. He has supported and helped so many people either new to the horse world or people just trying to gain more knowledge. He truly gets pleasure from helping children become better riders and has supported so many youth over the years by hauling them to shows and coaching them (and maybe teasing them a little bit too). I am sure that is why so many people have reached out to the family and asked if they have a Go-Fund account set up so we can all support Bud and Cora during this difficult time. So here it is!

Any donations will be very much appreciated and will help them cover the mounting medical expenses.

I know we are all praying for Bud. Please keep the positive thoughts coming. I know it means the world to Cora, Stephanie and Richard that you are all in Bud's corner.
