Meet Bud Bud, a sweet 6-year-old boy who deserves a chance to live! He's endured 6 tough years on the streets, including a harrowing encounter where a group of boys surrounded him, threw rocks, and kicked him, possibly breaking his canines. Luckily, his caretaker rescued him, but Bud Bud continues to face new challenges daily. Besides his broken canines, he has other infected teeth that need removal, making eating a struggle. New cats in the area are picking on him, and recent re-trapping landed him in foster care, but adoption hopes were dashed due to needed dental work. Without teeth, Bud Bud won't survive on the streets, struggling with severe infections and unable to eat or defend himself. When his foster noticed him not eating or drinking much, he started shutting down - thought to be depression, but actually, painful inflammation made eating and drinking agony. Today, Bud Bud received sub-Q fluids, an antibiotic shot, gabapentin, and an estimate for $1,200 dental work.
