Support Barbara Lee’s Stroke Recovery

Barbara Lee suffered a stroke in January 2021. It has been a tough time for her, and her family, especially her husband, Bud Lee.

A stroke occurs as a result of the brain losing blood supply and the part of the body that the blood-deprived brain cells control stops working. It leads to trouble in walking, speaking, understanding, paralysis, and numbness of the face, arms, and legs.

There is a lot of treatment required including clot buster to minimize brain damage, palliative care, surgery, and various therapies for recovery such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and much more.

Apart from the emotional torment that the family is facing, the financial burden for treatment of the stroke is substantial and increases each day. This is why they need your support in restoring the health of the loving Barbara.

Bud & Barbara Lee have been full-time traveling evangelists for over 30 years. In their early years, they traveled and sang with their three children, Melodye, Stephanie, and DJ. They have held numerous revivals and concerts in local churches. Due to their outstanding performances, they have been featured at the Southern Baptist Convention and many other states and regional conventions and conferences.

Barbara Lee is a pianist and Seminar speaker with a Bachelor of Music in Piano from Southern University and a Master of Music in Piano from Indiana University. She has been an instructor at Arkansas A.M.&N. College, Western Baptist Bible College in Kansas City, and the University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She is a reputable woman who has touched many souls through her passion for music and worship songs, something that she can no longer do due to the stroke.

Family and friends are praying for her quick recovery so that they can sing, laugh, and worship together like they normally do. They need all the support they can get to restore her health and pay up the medical bills that have been accruing up since January. 

This GoFundMe account is set to assist the family with Barbara’s medical bills, prescriptions, home care, treatments, and other necessary financial obligations associated with the treatment.
