Buca is a 1-year old German Shepherd. He is a mobility support service dog in training. Buca is loving and loyal and has been learning all he needs to provide James the support he needs in his health journey.

Recently, Buca was diagnosed with a damaged salivary gland. This condition causes the gland to repeatedly fill with fluid. Buca requires immediate surgery to remove the damage as repeatedly attempting to drain the fluid causes risk of infection. Without this surgery, Buca faces increased pain, infection, and a significant decline in quality of life.

The estimated cost of Buca's surgery is $7500, which includes surgical fees, anesthesia, post-operative care, and follow-up treatments. Unfortunately, James is not able to cover these expenses on his own, and am turning to our community for help.

I am humbly asking for your support to help cover Buca's medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in ensuring that Buca gets the necessary surgery and can recover comfortably. Your generosity will directly impact Buca’s health and well-being.

Around $5,600 will be used for the initial surgery, and the remaining $1,900 will be used for Post-Op Care and Medications. Anything over the goal, and any donations not used will be donated to help other individuals who are in need, get service animals.
