Hello Bubbles' friends and patrons. Bubbles has been a local institution for over 5 decades. Manufacturing local products, refilling bottles, donating baskets and employing our neighbors as any good downtown small shop would. Over the last six years we have had one hardship after another. Covid, the crash of our industry, tariffs and now what feels like a war on the world economy.
Our sales have fallen off. Online we have had 3 orders in 12 days. In store sales are dramatically lower. I want to make certain that everyone understands that I get it. I am not asking for sales my customers cannot afford to make. Things are hard all over right now. We are fortunate enough to have a huge customer base that stretches from sea to shining sea. Amazing, wonderful people from all walks of life and economic backgrounds. Bubbles could use an Angel or two. With our sales down we just plainly won't make it through May. As sales are, we cannot afford to order our ingredients, our lotions and creams, the scents you all love or stock the shelves with all the items you have come to expect from the shop.
Bubbles would be grateful for any donation afforded. This is the hardest part for me, asking more of a community that has already rallied in such an amazing way. I am hoping there are a few big hearted Bubbles fans that aren't feeling the crunch quite as hard and could help us get through. If not, I have some 'Bubbles' Refill Wagon' ideas for the local area.
