Bubba is our sweet and shy miniature dachshund who has always brought so much joy to our family. He loves running along the beach, digging in the sand, and chasing after balls. His favorite treat is dog-friendly ice cream, and he adores playing with his little brother. Bubba’s gentle spirit and playful energy have made him a beloved part of our lives.


Recently, Bubba let out a painful screech while playing with his toy. We hoped rest would help, but his pain only grew worse. After a visit to our primary veterinarian, we were referred to a neurologist. An MRI revealed that Bubba has a herniated disc and needs IVDD surgery. The news was overwhelming, but we are grateful there is a path forward to help him heal.


Bubba is scheduled for surgery soon, and we are raising funds to cover the cost of the procedure, his medications, and the post-surgery care he’ll need to recover. Unfortunately, our pet insurance will not help us cover the costs for Bubba’s surgery, which has made this situation even more challenging for our family. Watching Bubba struggle to do the things he loves—like playing with his brother or even standing to look out the car window—has been heartbreaking for our family. We are hopeful that with the right care, Bubba will be able to return to his happy, active self. Any support will help us give Bubba the chance to enjoy life to the fullest again.
