Support Bubba Stipe's Battle with Colon Cancer

Hi, this is Lisa and Shelly. Our sister Christina's husband, Bubba Stipe, was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in June 2020.

Christina works full time as a Kindergarten teacher. Our oldest niece, Hayden, is starting her 2nd year at USM this fall, and Fallon is starting her senior year in high school!

Bubba is one of the strongest people we know. Since being diagnosed 4 years ago, he has endured countless chemotherapy treatments, all while continuing to work full time as a St. Tammany Sheriff. In addition to his chemo, he is currently undergoing radiation treatments 5 days a week. Bubba and Christina also have frequent visits to MD Anderson in Houston, incurring additional travel expenses that, of course, aren't covered by insurance. Even with health insurance, there are very large out of pocket expenses incurred every year over the last 4 years.

Through the generosity of friends, a meal train has been set up but filling up fast! (Which we are very grateful for!)

Since many of the slots have been filled, friends and family have reached out to ask how else they can help, which brought us to set up this Go Fund Me. Bubba, Christina and the girls are extremely humbled and appreciative of everyone's generosity during this time. The most important thing they need are your prayers, but if you are able to donate even a little, your support will go towards Bubba's medical and travel expenses, including treatments, medications, MRIs and other tests.
