Hi everyone,

On August 6, I'll be having top surgery—a huge step in my journey and something I've quietly been working toward for a long time. It also happens to land just a few weeks before my 29th birthday, which makes it feel even more meaningful and worth celebrating!! :)

(Sidebar—last year of my 20s? Yikes.)

The total out-of-pocket cost for this surgery is estimated to be around $5,000–$7,000 with insurance. I've been fortunate enough to save up for most of it, but I'm creating this GoFundMe to help offset a portion of those costs.

A few family members & friends have already asked how they can support me through this process, and that means so much to me! If you're in a space to help and want to, this is the best and most meaningful way to do that. :)

Everything will go towards:

- medical bills from surgeon, facility, and anesthesiologist

- post-op recovery items

- meals (Celiac disease means I can’t have folks cook for me)
