Asylum seeker in need of funds to pay monthly bills. We first met B and her family when they were applying for TPS. B is from Haiti and migrated to the US via Brazil. She is a hard worker and for a long time was able to support her two girls, the youngest of whom is autistic, by working for Amazon. Unfortunately, her work permit expired and she was laid off. Her application for asylum, like many from Haiti, has been languishing due to the pause in reviewing all pending applications for asylum from Haiti and other countries.

She is behind on her bills and has until January 15 to get caught up. She is hoping to raise $5000 to cover. We are encouraging monthly sustaining donations to help sustain going forward until she can begin working again.
