Hello Friends,
As many of you know, our special Angel Bryton Eddy recently passed. This has been beyond emotionally devaand uncountable mental and physiological ongoing challenges.
She was nonverbal, unable to walk, and spent her life in bed and/or in a wheelchair. She spent nearly half of her life in the hospital and much of the time in intensive care. We committed from her birth (her life started in the NICU...neonatal intensive care) that we would always keep her in her home and NEVER institutionalize her. This was a commitment to a very challenging and distressing life. Bryton had several spells of joy and temporary moderate “fun” life, but most were filled with anxiety, fear, and sadness. She had over 200 ambulance transports, many life-threatening. Bryton has recently passed and the greieving process has been excrutiationg and affected my ability to function professionally in my career. This has really been the case over the passed 2 years as Bryton spent those last 2 years in the hospital and much of that on intensove care. The house and my studio is in Forclosure and set for sherrifs sale on 1-27-26.
