If you've ever met Bryton, you know he's one of the kindest and most hardworking young men around. He's the type of person who never hesitates to drop everything to help a friend and is always ready to lend a hand – whether it's pitching in through the Montague FFA or shoveling sidewalks while he's out plowing, simply because it's the right thing to do.

Bryton recently graduated from Montague High School, where he was not only a standout student but also a dedicated baseball player. Anyone who's seen him on the field will tell you he gives 110% every single time, no matter the circumstance. He's the kind of kid who thrives when he's busy, always working, helping, or giving back in some way. His determination, kindness, and selflessness have made him a role model to many.

Recently, Bryton's world was turned completely upside down. He was diagnosed with spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, and everything changed in an instant. Instead of spending his days doing what he loves – fishing, hunting, and playing fetch with his dog Graci – he's now facing a fight no young person should ever have to endure. While he's approaching this fight with the same strength and determination he's always shown, the road to recovery has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.

Bryton has already undergone an orchiectomy, which is the removal of a testicle, and still faces the removal of lymph nodes and chemo/radiation. Despite the family's strength and positivity, the cost of medical bills and travel to the University of Michigan continue to grow. We are hoping to raise money to help cover some of these costs, so the family and Bryton can focus on healing and recovery.
