My son Bryson has been diagnosed with a Glioma Brain Tumor and the news has been devastating. We’ve been told that surgery isn’t an option, which leaves us feeling helpless. We want to explore every possible treatment to give Bryson a fighting chance. Your support means the world to us during this difficult time. Please like, comment, and share this post to help us reach more people who might be able to contribute. Every little bit helps, and together, we can make a difference for Bryson.
Bryson has been diagnosed with a Glioma Brain Tumor inoperable brain cancer.
Bryson began complaining of headaches (feeling weird) ringing in his ears, complaining of his ears hurting, feeling like he was going to pass out and blurry vision. His teacher said he was losing cognitive skills and forgetting people he knew. We spoke to a Neurologist at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati and she thought he had IIH (Idiopathic intracranial hypertension). She ordered an MRI an MRB and a lumbar puncture. The MRI and MRB was 1st on 11/13/2025 and she called us back the same day and she said the MRI and MRB showed a growth on his brain and it is Glioma Cancer (brain cancer) and where it is located keeps the fluid on his brain from draining and the location of it makes it inoperable and he also has a hole in his brain he was probably born with. The next day he had the lumbar puncture and confirmed the excessive fluid. They are going to put a shunt in for the fluid in January and do another MRI in 3 months to see if it is growing.
12/12/2025 he had an appointment with Ophthalmology to see if he had pressure on his eyes. He does not but said he has Exotropia and will need multiple operations to correct that.
Bryson was admitted to Children's Hospital on 01/05/2026 due to headaches, feeling weird, dizziness and feeling like he was going to pass out. On 1/7 they put a drain in his spine and was draining 5 ml an hour for 2 days and now they are not sure if he has IIH Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension so they postponed the shunt. We contacted Duke University and they reviewed his case on 01/05/2026. We have not yet heard back from Duke University.
Before all this happened we had sold our house and closing was 11/14/2025. We were moving south because my wives COPD is getting worse. We had to do a lease option at the last minute on a 3 bedroom townhouse through Tenmore Holdings and it has been a nightmare. Their are items that they were supposed to fix and they did attempt to fix some of them but they just made it worse. On 11/29 they attempted to fix the garbage disposal the home inspector said that whoever installed it did not drill a hole in it so when you run the dishwasher the water does not drain but shoots out the overflow. We were told it was fixed so we ran the dishwasher after a while I went into the kitchen and everything was flooded and now the floor is damaged. They were to paint the steps to match the floor but used a total different color and the paint is peeling and is slippery when wet. Other repairs have not even been attempted at this time. The place we signed the contract with have quit responding to me. She is now saying that the garbage disposal repair was not agreed on even though they attempted to fix it. I have left a message with them requesting my $8400 down payment back but have not yet heard back. They have not responded about the repairs since December 11th. They responded back on 1/8 and someone was supposed to come on 1/11 between 10-12 but didn't show up until 230. When he showed up he backed in the driveway but didn't ring the doorbell or knock I only knew he was here because motion was detected. I went to see who it was and he was on the phone with someone saying the steps were already done then saying the steps had carpet on them. They were supposed to paint the steps a color to match the floor but didn't and the carpet is peel and stick I put down until they were fixed so they wouldn't be slippery.
Bryson's story. We were at my boss's wedding on 10/09/2010 and his wife told us about a baby that his mother was looking for someone to adopt. She didn't know at the time but the mother had him that day and we went to see him on 10/10/2010 and agreed to do a private adoption so we consider his gotcha date as 10/10/10 so we tell him he is a perfect 10. Bryson was diagnosed with autism at age 2. His 1st public school he went to was Walton Verona Elementary in Walton Ky and they did not handle his needs well at all. Their solution was when he was having a meltdown was to lock him in a "sensory room" which made him not want to go back so we sold our home and moved to Union KY. In Union he goes to Ballyshannon where he has made a lot of progress. He can do simple math, he can read simple words, he can identify all numbers and letters. They allow him to go to some regular classrooms as well as he helps the custodians, He says his job is going to be a custodian when he gets older and for extra money he is going to be an artist and a standup comedian.

Our story: Me and my wife became foster parents in 2023. We have adopted 7 special needs children, 3 children with Fetal alcohol Syndrome (FAS) 2 children with autism 1 with multiple personality disorder and 1 with Muscular Dystrophy. We also took legal custody of my son's best friend his Freshman year of high school in 2003 so he wouldn't have to go into foster care. In 2025 he legally changed his last name to ours. We also have a biological daughter. My wife has COPD from being born premature and her lungs never fully developed. and it has now gotten worse where she can barely climb steps and the place we are at has 18 steps to get into the unit. I tore my quad muscle in my right knee when I slipped on a wet floor at work on June 13th . In July 2022 while getting the run around and no income we had to sell what we could. My wife with COPD and asthma had to get a job at a nursing home and within 2 weeks contacted Covid and nearly died. I had to go back to work so I got a job delivering pizza's in November due to having no money and this affected my recovery. They gave me the runaround until August 2023 when they finally settled with me. I took the entire settlement and paid off as many credit cards as I could but we never recovered from that. I am currently trying to negotiate with my credit cards to pay them off with the little money we received when we sold our house.

A brain tumor is a mass of abnormally growing cells in the brain or skull, which can be either benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous). There are two main types of brain tumors: primary tumors, which originate in the brain itself, and secondary tumors, which spread to the brain from other parts of the body. Symptoms may include headaches, personality changes, weakness, seizures, and trouble concentrating. Diagnosis typically involves imaging tests and may require a biopsy for confirmation. Treatment options can include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, depending on the tumor type and location. For more detailed information, you can refer to sources like the MSD Manual, Cedars-Sinai, Harvard Health, Mayo Clinic, and Merck Manuals.
