Hello! I’m about to embark on the most important medical journey of my life, and I am asking for your help.

I'm scheduled to finally get gender affirming surgery.

After 6 months of meticulous research, countless consultations, thousands of miles traveled out of state for consultations, and thousands of dollars of electrolysis required for this surgery, I am finally ready. I’m asking because the last two years have left my wife and I in a hard spot. Since 2024, we’ve been through a cancer diagnosis and surgery, radiation therapy, a roof replacement, a knee surgery and the death of one of our kitties - we’ve been humbled financially and spiritually.

I feel incredibly vulnerable in this ask. I’ve been working since I was 15 and always been self-sufficient and did what I could, my family and friends.

I am asking for $6,500 to help us cover: out of state travel, lodging and bills while I am on short term disability for medical leave and recovering.
