Support Brynn's Battle with IMHA

Hi, my name is Brynn Jones and I am a 4 year old American Cocker Spaniel that got diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia). IMHA is a life-threatening auto immune disease that randomly occurs when the body's immune system attacks and destroys its own red bloods cells. My mommy and daddy took me to the doggy ER not expecting to have the news that their baby has an auto immune disease and that she will have to have a couple of blood transfusions to give my body time for the medications to work. Doctors informed my parents that not many dogs make it through this. The medications took 3-7 days to start to work. I had to stay in the doggy intensive care unit for 7 days. My parents came to visit me every day but only could stay for 45 mins because that was the hospitals policy. They had to drive an hour everyday to see me due to the closet ER for me did not have blood for my transfusion so we had to travel. I also developed blood clots in my lungs that will eventually go away but the medications for that are outrageous in price. I will be on medications for the rest of my life. My parents applied for everything they could think of to help pay for my health and recovery. I am strong and will fight my hardest. I appreciate any help anyone can do.
Thanks
Brynn
