Brynn Ervin and I first met as moms with children in the same multiage program, and over the years, our friendship has grown through playdates, school events, and supporting each other’s families. Brynn is a beloved friend, a devoted mother, and someone who has always been there for others.
Just before the holidays, Brynn suffered a life-threatening subdural hematoma that required emergency brain surgery. She is now in the hospital’s rehabilitation unit, facing the slow and difficult process of relearning how to walk, speak, and care for herself. This is not Brynn’s first battle — it’s her third major medical crisis in 16 years. Each time, she has fought back with incredible courage and resilience. Brynn is a miracle, a warrior, and tougher than nails. Her husband, Kyle, an English teacher, has been by her side every step of the way, holding their family together. Their children — Gracie, Isaiah, Noah, and Tony — are doing the same, balancing work, school, and supporting their mom.
When Brynn eventually comes home, she will need extensive rehabilitation and care. The family will need to make adjustments to their home to support her recovery, and with Kyle working and the older kids away at school, the Ervins are leaning on their community once again. This fundraiser will help cover medical expenses, therapy, home care, and recovery needs, giving Brynn the best possible chance at healing.
If you know Brynn, you know her heart. She has spent her life lifting others up with prayer, kindness, and laughter. Now it’s our turn to help lift her. Please consider donating, sharing this page, and keeping the Ervin family in your prayers. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps lighten the load and brings Brynn one step closer to healing. Together, as friends, family, and community, we can show Brynn that the love she’s always given out so freely is coming back to her a hundredfold.
