Brylee was born Oct 20. She was 20 inches long, 7 lb 8 ounces. While she appeared to be healthy, she failed her initial newborn screening. After weeks of poking and testing, she was diagnosed with SCID (severe compromised immunodeficiency). Last night we received a call regarding worsening labs and are now being admitted to UW Madison. Her immunodeficiency involves her bone marrow, making it difficult for her body to produce red blood cells. She has no immune system at this time and will be in isolation for some time.

Madison is 3 hours from home. Any funds received will go towards medical bills and expenses while we are there.
