Hello! My name is Tia Pritchard. I am friends with a family, and I want to help raise money for them in their time of great need. Their story is below! Any donation helps! Thank you in advance!

On September 25, 2025, Bryce suffered a stroke while home with their daughter, Lorelei. October 12th was day 17. He has been in the hospital since the stroke, working with physical, occupational, and speech therapy. He remained there until October 20th, when they created a safe return home plan.

The stroke was on the right side of his brain, and the left side of his body was affected. At first, his left arm was quite affected, but he has been making strides in recovering the use of it and endurance. For about two weeks, he was unable to move his left leg at all, but recently began showing some signs of regaining movement! It is a slow process, but we all believe he will get there. He has been in good spirits and is very thankful to be home.

Since his return home, he still has yet to return to work. He is still unable to walk and will need a lot of assistance to regain his movements.

The family has not been able to return to work as Bryce’s wife is unable to work due to her own disabilities and Bryce still regaining movement after the stroke. Prior to the stroke, and currently, the family doesn’t have health insurance because there simply wasn’t enough money. They also didn’t qualify for Medicaid or Medicare until the month of November (after he had been released from the hospital).

Because of all of this, they got a $113,000 hospital bill. They have no income coming in due to the lack of ability to work, and they are worrying about paying the medical bills, paying for rent next month, and paying for food. This is not a political post, but with the government being shut down, they have not been able to receive the food stamps benefits yet. They have filed all of the necessary paperwork for alternative housing, food, etc., but that takes months to process.

Please be gracious and donate to this family in desperate need of assistance. Any amount will help! Thank you in advance!
