Help Us Create a Sensory Space That Grows With Brycen

Our sweet Brycen experiences the world in a very unique way. His sensory room has always been his safe place — the one spot where he can calm his body, regulate his emotions, and just be himself without judgment or overwhelm.

But as Brycen grows, his sensory needs are changing. What once helped him find peace now no longer gives him the comfort and support he needs. We’re hoping to add a new sensory object that will meet him where he’s at now — something that can help him feel grounded, calm, and happy in his space again.

Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover this purchase, and even after applying for multiple grants, we’ve been turned down each time. We’ve tried every route we can, but the reality is that these sensory tools are incredibly expensive, and we can’t make this happen on our own.

This isn’t about “just” a piece of equipment. It’s about giving Brycen a safe and meaningful space where he can thrive — where his body and mind can rest after long, challenging days.
