Hello, this is Bryan. He's a 22-year-old completely non-verbal autistic adult. He was born with a cleft of the soft palate, which didn't get fixed until he was 2 years old due to his weight being so low. For the first 2 years of his life, he didn't get proper nutrition, not to anyone's fault. But he was fed through a tube made of latex as he couldn't drink from a bottle properly. Still not getting the nutrition he needed and throwing up constantly, mom and dad finally found a doctor that would listen, and the doctor said... duh, he's lactose intolerant and has a latex allergy. So they changed his formula, took the feeding tube out, and found a special bottle he could eat from. And wham! The weight piled on so he could have his cleft palate fixed.
Fast forward 20 years, he's an adult with non-verbal autism and a high pain tolerance. But now he needs severe dental work, mainly implants, and the dentist that works on kids and adults like him says it's $9000 worth of work. His eating habits have changed dramatically and so has his weight. He needs your help. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Yes, he has insurance through his disability, but they only cover $250 worth of the work. If you can share and donate to his very much needed work, his family and he would greatly appreciate it.
