Support Bryan's Family in Their Time of Need

Bryan was a single father of seven children, who fought small-intestine cancer since 2022. The joy of his life were his children and they were his reason to battle this invasive disease each and every day.
His life revolved around helping others, particularly young people.
In memory of his impactful life, you can help during this period of loss by supporting his young children's futures.
Early life.
He grew up delivering aid to war-torn and communist, eastern-European countries, where his parents served as Christian relief workers amidst conflict and suppression. From an early age, he saw and understood the importance of investing in the lives of those in need of support, realizing the long-term impact such investments can make.
Upon high-school graduation, Bryan left Europe, traveling to the USA to pursue a degree in Psychology in Lynchburg, Virginia, always with an eye on ultimately serving others with his life.
Work life.
Bryan went on to work at Job Corps, an educational and vocational facility established to provide free training for 16-to-24-year-olds. By equipping these students with necessary life skills, they are able to stand on their own feet and take ownership of their lives.
Rising through the ranks, Bryan started out as a security guard and ultimately became Center Director over the whole campus. Seeing lives transformed through the power of self-worth and knowledge, fueled his everyday passion to invest in the next generation of leaders.
Family life.
Throughout his career, he was also building a family. He had two biological daughters and adopted five foster children from the greater Lynchburg area. Currently, between the ages of 10 and 18, these seven children have meant the world to Bryan. They've shared wonderful memories through the years as well as formed an incredible bond that will be indelible.
Battle for life.
Bryan was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in early 2022. Sadly, after a years-long, consistent struggle, his illness spread to the point where there were no further medical interventions available for him. He chose to maximize each remaining day, surrounded by those he loved most and investing in those nearest and dearest to him.
Legacy of life.
Having lived his life to help others build their futures, his absence will leave a drastic void for those he supported, most critically for his seven children.
Bryan lived a life of deep faith and trusted the futures of his children were in good hands; however, in memoriam, any support provided will ease the practical burdens that lie ahead for his young children.
Your generosity to this fund will help continue his legacy by providing for his children's futures and educational aspirations through a trust that Bryan established to assist them in their pursuit of independence.
The family requests contributions to the Bryan Thomas Lyttle Trust in lieu of flowers.
