On March 10th, 2026, my life was shattered in a way no parent should ever have to endure. My son, Bryan Bostic, was taken from us in a senseless, violent and tragic act at the hands of the Inglewood Police Department. I am still trying to process how something like this could happen, with the same police department that should be here to protect and serve . The weight of this loss is truly unbearable.
No parent should have to bury their child. I am grieving not only the loss of my son, but the future we had planned and were supposed to share — the moments, the conversations, the love and life that was taken far too soon.
Bryan leaves behind his beautiful daughter — his heart & soul, his purpose, his everything. Everything he did was for her. Now she is left to grow up without her father, and I am doing everything in my power to ensure she is protected , supported, loved & cared for during a time so tragic.
At the same time, our family is facing something much bigger. We are up against a system — a powerful machine — in seeking truth, accountability, and justice for Bryan. This is not a simple process, and we know the road ahead will be long, emotionally draining, and difficult to navigate. We are asking not only for your prayers, but for your empathy and support as we face this uphill battle.
So many people have reached out asking how they can help, how they can support Bryan’s daughter, and how they can stand with our family. This GoFundMe was created to provide a respectful space for those who feel led to give — whether it’s to support my granddaughter’s care and future, or to help our family as we pursue justice and clarity in what happened to Bryan.
Every contribution will go directly toward providing stability, care, and emotional support for my granddaughter, as well as helping us handle the many challenges that come with seeking answers and accountability.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for every prayer, every kind word, and every act of love. Please continue to stand with us and keep my granddaughter lifted in prayer. She is walking a road no child should ever have to walk, and we are doing everything we can to uplift her & carry her through it — but we cannot do it alone.
