Support Bryan's Battle Against Stomach Cancer

Hi, my name is Alexa, and I’m creating this GoFundMe to support my stepfather, Bryan, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Stomach Cancer during a routine endoscopy. Those closest to us know that both Bryan and I have been down this road before with my mother, Cynthia, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometrial cancer in 2015 and passed in 2017. We miss her immensely.

Bryan was an integral part of my mother’s amazing years and was also the backbone of her care taking when she was sick, not only with cancer but even when her appendix burst when I was away at college back in 2005. When I had graduated college, Bryan took me in and treated me like his own - no questions asked - until I could get acclimated to the real world during the 2008 recession.

Bryan has been a part of our lives for many years. Anyone that knows him knows that he is the true meaning of selfless. He would do anything for the people that he loves. That is why this is so hard to share with you guys. I know everyone always questions why this happens to the best of the best. Well, that is truly this situation - which is why we are asking for your help.

Currently, Bryan is unable to work and has started undergoing costly cancer treatments. These funds will not only help cover medical expenses, treatments, medications, etc. but also his monthly and everyday living expenses, while he is undergoing treatment. The stress of bills piling up is the last thing we want for him, especially since those closest to Bryan are currently living out of the area. We want Bryan to still feel as supported and comfortable as possible and ask for your help in easing the financial burden so that he can just focus on getting better.

We understand that everyone’s situation is different and not everyone can donate a lot, but each dollar could make a huge difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with anyone you know would mean the world to us.
