Support Turp’s Recovery – Crested Butte Community Rally
Our friend Bryan “Turp” Turpyn, a beloved member of the Crested Butte family, was injured on March 6 after colliding with a tree while skiing. He broke his fibula in two places and will be facing a long recovery ahead.
Like so many in our work hard, play hard mountain town, Turp doesn’t have medical insurance and will be unable to work for several weeks—possibly longer. Let’s come together, as this community always does, to help him through.
Even small donations make a difference—every bit helps cover medical expenses, rent, and basic needs while he heals. His close crew is already stepping in to help with mobility and day-to-day tasks at his place on 7th, but we’re asking for a little extra love from the greater Crested Butte community.
If you’ve shared a lap, a beer, or a story with Turp, you know he’d do the same for any of us. Let’s help him get back on his feet—literally.

Sign Up to Help with Meals, Groceries, Rides & Tasks: [Insert Google Spreadsheet link]
We’ve created a sign-up sheet for meals, grocery runs, transportation, and other daily needs—if you can lend a hand, it would mean the world. Whether it’s dropping off food, giving him a ride, or helping with errands, every little bit counts.
Thank you, CB family. Turp, we’ve got you.
