It has now gotten super exciting! After endless hospital and doctor visits, countless medical examinations and evaluations, and hundreds of dialysis and medical treatments, Bryan has officially been accepted by the Transplant Committee to be placed on the transplant list to receive a new heart and a new kidney. The family is ecstatic to receive this news. They have waited for years to get to this point!

Bryan will be admitted to the hospital this coming Monday, March 2, 2026. He will remain in the hospital until he receives his new heart and kidney. His medical team says this could take a few days or a few weeks. After the transplants are completed, Bryan will remain hospitalized for about two weeks until he is fully stable and ready to be back at home.

Now, more than ever, the family will need as much support as possible. Arrangements have been made with Bryan’s core home care team (his wife, Beki, of course; his mom, Miriam; Beki’s sister, Jessica; and other family and friends) to ensure the family will have transportation, childcare, and the moral support they need to get through these exciting but difficult life-changing times.

Beki will be expected to stay at the hospital with Bryan throughout the transplant surgeries. As shared in an update in the previous campaign, the heart transplant would be done first and would take about 8 to 12 hours. After the surgery, Bryan will remain under anesthesia until he stabilizes (a few hours). He will then receive the kidney transplant. This second surgery will also take several hours. The whole surgery process can take over a day to complete. Bryan will be under anesthesia and on a ventilator for the duration of the process. However, Beki will be able to see him in between surgeries.

All of this, of course, means that Beki will be limited in what she can do for work. This is why we have launched this new push to ask for donations. Any little bit you can donate will be immensely useful to the family during this next step. Please share this campaign with all your family, friends, and acquaintances. Even if you cannot give much, any little bit is appreciated. A single water drop seems insignificant, but a constant trickle of drops can fill a bucket! The family will not forget your kindness and love.

¡Ahora se ha vuelto súper emocionante! Tras interminables visitas al hospital y al médico, innumerables exámenes y evaluaciones médicas, y cientos de diálisis y tratamientos médicos, Bryan ha sido oficialmente aceptado por el Comité de Trasplantes para ser incluido en la lista de trasplantes y recibir un nuevo corazón y un nuevo riñón. La familia está eufórica al recibir esta noticia. ¡Han esperado años para llegar a este punto!

Bryan será ingresado en el hospital este próximo lunes, 2 de marzo de 2026. Permanecerá en el hospital hasta que reciba su nuevo corazón y riñón. Su equipo médico dice que esto podría tardar unos días o semanas. Tras completar los trasplantes, Bryan permanecerá hospitalizado durante unas dos semanas hasta que esté completamente estable y listo para volver a casa.

Ahora, más que nunca, la familia necesitará todo el apoyo posible. Se han hecho arreglos con el equipo principal de atención domiciliaria de Bryan (su esposa, Beki, por supuesto; su madre, Miriam; la hermana de Beki, Jessica; y otros familiares y amigos) para asegurar que la familia disponga de transporte, cuidado infantil y el apoyo moral que necesitan para superar estos tiempos emocionantes pero difíciles que cambian su vida.

Bryan Tian is a 25 year old father of two. His daughter is 6 and his son is 2. Bryan has been sick for many years and now needs a heart and kidney transplant. He has been in the hospital for over a week and will continue to need medical treatment while he awaits his transplants. His wife, Rebeca (Beki), takes care of their two little ones, visits Bryan in the hospital, and works as much as she can to provide for the family. But she still needs help to cover household and medical bills that might not be covered by insurance. She's been visiting Bryan in the hospital which takes time away from work and uses up gas money. Please help this beautiful young family in their time of need!
