On August 17, 2025, our friend Bryan Porter was in a serious car accident on the I-15 freeway while on his way to serve on the sound team at The Rock Church. His car was crushed in the collision, and first responders had to cut him out of the wreckage. He was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, including a significant brain bleed, multiple fractures in his face, head, legs, arm, and wrist, and trauma to his lungs.

Those first days were very hard, but God has already been at work in Bryan’s healing. Through many prayers and the skill of his medical team, he has begun to make steady improvements. He has become more responsive, scans have stabilized, and he is slowly regaining strength. The road ahead will be long, but we are trusting the Lord with every step forward.

As Bryan continues to heal, he also faces major financial challenges. This fundraiser will help cover:

• Medical costs (out of pocket maximums for 2025 and 2026)

• COBRA insurance coverage while he is unable to work full time

• Storage and living expenses during his recovery

• Setting himself back up in an apartment when he is ready

The estimated need is around $45,000. Funds will be managed by his parents in a dedicated account, with full transparency.
