Bryan Gann is back at UAB and has been diagnosed with transverse myelitis (inflammation of the spinal cord) and myelomalacia affecting his spinal cord in three different spots along his neck, causing his symptoms. There is lots of inflammation in his spinal column also. He has been taking 1,000 mg of steroids to prevent the damage from this condition spreading any further, possibly causing paralysis. It started with his hands going numb, then his arms and legs. He is in excruciating pain right now. They have done a second MRI and spinal tap. We are waiting on those results. We ask for your prayers—prayers to calm Bryan’s (and our) nerves, prayers to guide the medical team in their knowledge and actions, prayers for healing and recovery, and prayers for those two precious little girls.
