Hi, my name's Bryan - that's my mom Tammy in the cover picture. We're in a bit of bad shape right now. The car pictured was "new" - a 2018 we were able to finance through a program called ValleyCan to replace a 1994 Truck. We got hit almost head-on coming back from Merced. The long story is we're living on mom's social security and a disability payout, I'm an AMFT trying to find remote counseling work because we live in Los Banos and can't commute reliably (or at all right now). Because of the recent difficulties with SNAP, we've exhausted our monthly finances to pay for food. We don't want to get behind on our Mortgage again and I require internet and my phone to do my job. I don't know how long we're going to need help and I feel guilty asking others because I overthink what might be considered luxuries when I know just how many other people need help.

I'm not sure what is going to happen with the car, the insurance payout, I'm told but could be wrong, should be enough to replace the vehicle, we might need more, it's been very much up in the air and circumstances change day by day.

I showed the leak in the roof just to illustrate the other challenges we may be facing in the near-future.

All of that to that end, I wrote $1000 as the goal. I don't know if we'll end up needing more or less than that - like I said I don't want to be greedy, but I also don't want to downplay issues and end up needing more than I thought. This is my first GoFundMe so this is all new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping something is going to come thru for me job-wise soon to help mitigate damage. I just don't know where else to turn, I've exhausted favors from friends/family the last time we had a crisis (the mortgage issue I mentioned above)
